You have just opened your latest phone bill and – SURPRISE – there is a whopping total due. Quickly you dig down through the multiple pages of charges itemized one way then another and suddenly there it is. Someone, a child, a party guest, an overnight house guest, someone has called overseas and talked for 45 minutes! Or, more embarrassing, someone has called one of those 976 sex lines at dollars per minute. This was done completely without your knowledge but you are left holding the bill! These phone abuses can happed with children, house guests, party guests, anyone that can access your phone when (or where) you are not aware of them. This is a particular problem in college “group” apartments – one college student in the home or apartment will have to be responsible for the phone bill and the others are on their honor to pay their portion of the bill. But they have to tell you that they made the call or who are you going to charge? And, again, there are the party guests that you do not really know that well. Have you ever received one of these surprises? If you haven’t yet then someday you will. That is, unless you have a Aaron TCR (Toll Call Restrictor) on the job. Maybe you have a small business with a lunch room phone for your employees. The intent is for them to make short local calls to take care of personal business and avoid them having to take a part day off of work for their personal business. But there will be abuses. A long time on the phone, long distance calls, etc. Long distance abuse is doubly expansive because you are paying the employee’s wages while they are on the phone running up long distance charges! Yes, there will be abuses. That is, unless you have a Aaron TCR with the call timer option on the job. You could simply not let employees make calls during their break. But this can lead to employees taking time off to handle personal business, and you can bet they will be gone for longer than the call would have taken. Aaron has the proven answer to protect you from these surprises. It is a long distance dialing blocker or Toll Call Restrictor. Simply install the Aaron TCR as easily as replacing a phone jack. That is it, your worries are gone. Finally, a simple solution that your phone company would rather you not find.* Order your peace of mind today. * They don’t like loosing the long distance charges that you must pay if an employee makes a toll call.
